I am a strong proponent of responsible, coordinated vulnerability disclosure. If you are reporting a suspected vulnerability in an open-source tool, research prototype, or advisory maintained by Aagam Shah or Hexlab, please observe the following protocol:
- Email Header: Prefix subject with
[VULN-DISCLOSURE]. - Report Contents: Include proof-of-concept steps, affected versions/commits, and environment telemetry.
- Response SLA: Initial triage and receipt acknowledgement is provided within 48 to 72 business hours.
- Safe Harbor: Good-faith vulnerability investigations carried out without intent to harm or extract unauthorized personal data operate under complete safe harbor.
